That’s the question, isn’t it. Am I right for you? Are you right for me?

Given that we both have a limited amount of time life, should we spend our, as poet Mary Oliver says, “our wild and precious” time together.

Here’s what I’m about.

Living my inside on the outside in the service of life. I want to get out of my way, become who I am, and live that process in the middle of the village, not on some mountaintop.

I don’t want to be on my deathbed and think, like Ivan Ilyich, I didn’t completely show up. I only played a part of the game. I let fear/shame steer.

I want to live an ordinary life in an extraordinary way.

So, whether it’s life in general, life in the marketplace, life on the golf course, life with family and friends, I want to fully live it, not just the outside, not just a part of the game. I want to play a bigger game.

So, if that sounds right, if you want to live your whole life before you’re dead, if you want to share who you are and what you are with others and life, then yes, we should hang out. We should work together.
